3. Cookies We DON'T Use
To be absolutely clear, Next2Me does NOT use:

- ❌ Fingerprinting - We don't track device characteristics

4. Managing Your Cookies
In Next2Me
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time:
- Go to Settings → Privacy → Cookie Preferences
- Toggle optional cookies on or off
- Changes take effect immediately
In Your Browser
You can also control cookies through your browser settings:

5. Local Storage & Session Storage
In addition to cookies, we use browser storage for some features:
Local Storage
Local storage persists until you clear it. We use it for:
- Offline data caching (for offline mode)
- Draft memories before saving
- UI state (collapsed sections, etc.)
Session Storage
Session storage clears when you close your browser tab. We use it for:
- Temporary form data
- Navigation state
6. Do Not Track
Next2Me respects the "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser setting. If you have DNT enabled, we automatically:
- Disable all analytics cookies
- Skip anonymous usage tracking
- Still allow essential cookies (required for the app to work)

If we change how we use cookies, we will:
- Update this page with the new information
- Show a notice in the app if the changes are significant
